IgniteOKC was HOT!

For the last couple of months, we've been talking about our involvement in the coordination of IgniteOKC, a worldwide movement of enlightening events featuring a dozen or more speakers giving rapid-fire presentations on any topic that's voted worthy of being on stage. The only rules are no politics, no religion, and no spam.

Having been asked to serve on the steering committee a few months back, Traction Prez Tyler Smith immediately threw his hand in the air when talks about building and developing the IgniteOKC website cropped up.

But outside of building the best-looking Ignite website in the whole Ignite family, Tyler and Traction played a fairly heavy-handed roll in putting the whole thing together. From IgniteOKC merch, to info flyers, to the seamless Keynote that reduced the entire event to a few simple mouse clicks.

All the hard work culminated in a wildly successful IgniteOKC event Thursday, January 14, 2010. Held at Lyric Theatre, not only did the event sell out in record time, the entire event was streamed to an online audience of over 250 viewers that included an overflow watch party going on right across the street.
